Grunge Script Frame and a Freebie

I thought this grungy and tattered looking frame turned out pretty nice. I used a pattern from Recollections and the TH Tattered Flowers die. I'm going to be adding Memories to it at some point.
I haven't decided if I'm going to add a tattered tag to the flower or alpha die cuts along the edge..

Hot mess and a Freebie !

Did you ever spend a ridiculous amount of time on a project you
KNEW was turning into a big ole hot mess but still kept going? I did just that. Wasted my afternoon
on what I thought was going to be a cute banner garland for Halloween using about 4
super large 12" rosettes. After messing with just one for a couple hours I admitted defeat and thought... Man, do I need a big girl drink !  One project was a fail but I did make some word art that measured my mood
after all that time and frustration. I hope you can use it too. Personal use please !

If you have a minute, I'd love to hear about your  Project Fail also. We all have them. We hate to waste expensive supplies so we try hard to tweak it into something usable. I will put this up on a shelf in my craft studio during Oct where it will have a short life of one month.

School Frame and a Freebie

 Yea ! It's almost back to school time here . I know lots of happy Mom's right now.
I made this back to school frame for the 1st day picture .  I'll be adding this finished frame
at SugarPawDesigns if you're interested. Click on Photos.  I also made some wordart for
my grandchildren to print out on sticker paper and I will give you the graphic also as a freebie.  Reduce to any size you will need or use on any layout.

Note Pad cover and Freebie

Today I made a note pad cover . It turned out pretty cute but I'm not real sure I will make another
any time soon. I followed a tutorial on You Tube . The inside is decorated with patterned paper
also. I made a NOTE word art to print out for a label die cut. You have to reduce the file to fit
your projects but it's yours if you need it. I reduced to 1" for this project.

Baseball Banner and a Freebie word art

I was commissioned to make a mini banner for a little baby due any day. The theme was 
baseball . I used baseball themed papers and a cricut font cartridge for his chosen name
Mason. It's going to look so cute as a photo prop .  Doing a fast search for some word art
with not much luck, I had
to make some in PSP. I will pass it along to you. It is little slugger in red like you see in this photo.

CupCake Stand and a Freebie !

Isn't this the cutest cupcake stand ?  I needed a profile picture for facebook page and I was also in the mood for cupcakes. WaLa ! Killed two birds with one
stone. I used Sizzix cupcake stand die and Bella Armoire papers. I just love that pattern.
I'll be sorry when I run out and can't find anymore.

The freebie is Cup Cake word art in the same font I used for the GG4Me. I hope you can use it.

Wedding Card and a Freebie

It's been a long time since I made a hand made card and wrote on my blog. I've
been rather busy designing name banners and wood letters for SugarPawDesigns . It was time to
put everything aside for a moment and make a wedding card for an out of
town family member. I saw something a bit similar by SU and here's my version .
On the inside I made a matching gift card envelope to hold the gift card
we got them. It turned out rather nice, didn't it? Mailing it was a bit tricky. I found a plastic see thru box that kept the bow from getting crushed in the mail. Papers are by Bella Amore DCWV.

Hello Kitty door sign and a Freebie !

I'm still loving my Hello Kitty cart ! My husband has been working on a craft studio for me
for months now. It will be so pretty when it is finished. Lots of cubbies , ribbon holders , paper shelves and wall organizers . I was busting out of my craft space up stairs. It happens as active crafters all know. I wanted a door sign so I made this sweet one and will hang it as soon as the dust clears and painting is done. It's 8" by 10" on heavy cardstock for durability. I love it !

Hello Kitty Name Banner and a Freebie Word Art

I was so lucky to find a retired , new Hello Kitty cartridge. It cost me an arm and a leg but
it's so worth it. I am a huge Hello Kitty fan ! I could not wait to make something, so I made
this cute name banner for my friend's birthday. Having two boys, a husband and a grandson , she needed something pink in her house even if it's just over her craft desk. I have other banner styles to choose from over at

Flower Name Banner and a Freebie !

I really love the colors in this chipboard name banner. It's very girly girl. It was custom crafted for a special little one who will turn 2 soonfor her bedroom wall.
The letters were cut with the Cricut at 3" and popped up with dimensional foam. I used the Plantain cartridge.

Name Banner and a Freebie

I spent the afternoon crafting a Name banner for a friend's grandson who will turn 1 year old.
 It was so hard to not bling it up. I had a hard time making it somewhat plain. I love wild embellishments. I do have a few glitter dots here and there. I just could not resist. I used ColorBok All Boys papers . The letters were cut using  Cricut cartridge Plantain in dark brown/white polka dot
Colorbok paper. The sun and snail were made using Create a Critter in coordinating color texture papers.
I made a Happy Birthday for my card which I'll offer here as a freebie. After printing , add colors using pencil or markers. You might have to reduce printing size in your printing program .

New Create Banner and a freebie !

Wow... I have been away for a long time. I haven't been idle though. I've been crafting away

and making custom banners for SugarPawDesigns . Please stop by and LIKE my SugarPawDesigns facebook page to see what's new  .   I wanted to show a banner I made just for myself.
My hubby is building me a craft studio in our finished basement. I have outgrown my large wall in a bedroom, I'm afraid. It's going to be so Shabby Chic pretty when it is all done. I made this banner using papers from Bella Amoire . I embellished with black rhinestones , pearls, ribbons and fibers. The letters were cut using my Cricut Expression. Love those new yarn fibers ! I had to buy some in many different colors to add to my projects now and again. The stick pins are handmade also. I can't wait for the room to be finished and I can put it up.
I have a freebie today. I needed tags , so I made a word art to fit a tag punch. Don't snag this one because it has a watermark.

Real Women Word Art Freebie !

Isn't that the truth ! I needed a birthday card for a dear friend.
We've shared many good times and a few sad tears over a good glass of wine. The years have flown by and it's more like coffee or tea now but we can still empty a bottle between the two of us when the occasion calls. 
I hope you can use this word art in your projects. It's a 5" by 5" print out. I reduced it to 
3" by 3" for my inside layer and it worked great. Don't save this preview. It has a watermark.

Owl gift tag and circle wordart Owl freebie !

I crafted a gift tag to go along with the owl I made yesterday for the owl hat
I'll be gifting to a friend's little one . I made a colored digistamp out of the paper crafted owl on the owl card and added circle word art. It completely matches the card. So cute !
I'm offering the circle sentiment with colored owl as a freebie . I'm attaching a 3" file and a 2" file.
For this gift tag I printed the 2" file on cardstock and used a 2 "circle punch to cut it out . You can use a 2" circle of any kind to cut it out. You don't need a scrapbook punch. I pop dotted that to a 2 1/2 " circle and taped that to a 3" scalloped circle . I punched a small hole and added the ribbon. It took me just a few minutes.

Owl card and a word art freebie !

  I made some word art to go with an owl card I made. Inside the card is decorated and I wrote " I do, that's Whooooo". I will be giving an owl hat as a gift to a little boy. Making
handmade cards or simple note cards are not difficult at all . It's best to start simple and before you know it you'll
grow creatively. It can be addicting. Everyone loves the handmade cards !
This 5" card was made using DSWV Linen Closet and I used an owl paper template I found online. I printed my word art and cut in half to separate the sentiment. I choose not to color my word art but the font is open enough to do so.
The freebie zip file includes a 4" and a 3" printable word art files. Don't save the above watermarked preview wordart. Go to 4 shared to get the proper size.

GGrandma card and a cardmakers Freebie

 Today was a cold, rainy day thanks to TS Lee . I stayed home and made a
card for Grandparents day to my Mom from my grandchildren. We're all
blessed to still have her with us at 89. Hug your grandparents, if you can !
I totally CASED this card design. I saw a beauty online by Kristen at Lilsweetpeasplace
 Blog. I changed it up to fit what I had and it turned out nice. The inside is all decorated also with the pink and brown dotted paper and a sentiment from the 3 little ones for
their sweet great grandma .
Your freebie is the Great Grandma word art. It will fit a smaller square scalloped
Spellbinder die or any style small shaped die. I hope you can use it !
