Flower Pocket Card
Today I made a pocket card for someone's upcoming birthday . I used
Kaisercraft pattern paper called English Rose. Punches by Martha
Stewart, Cherish edge and a butterfly. The flowers
are by Flora Doodles and distressed inks by Tim Holtz.
Glossy Accents on the flowers/leaves, ribbons and pearls.
This card went together rather easy. I had seen a similar design
by Itzuvit one day and decided this was a card I wanted to make
next. Clicking on the image will open another window to see more detail.

Snow, Snow, Snow
So I sat at my craft desk and made a card for my
Grandson Jack's 3 rd birthday coming up in Feb. Time sure
is flying by. I thought robots sounded like a fun design
for a little boy.
The patterned paper I used is Little Robots by In My Mind's Eye .
I distressed edges and inked them up with Tim Holtz inks. Brads
and ribbon from my stash. After I took the picture, I added
another sentiment inside using a Spellbinders
label and added his name to the front along the striped edge.
I made a lime green envelope to match. I just love the Martha
Stewart score board. It makes great envelopes !

More Easel card Fun !
I'm still making cards ! This one will go to my sweet granddaughter
for Valentine's day. The image used is by Penny Black . I found an instruction
enclosure print out online to put inside the envelope. I've found out
many people don't understand these cards stand on their own. I used another Penny Black image of a hedgehog for my grandson's card.
I wanted to mention I made a Birthday card for my son in law and used
background digital paper I printed using my printer. The paper looks as nice on the card as if I purchased it from a paper pack. If your making homemade cards and can use any of freebies I have made, feel free. Don't forget they can only be used for personal use. Anything I have used from a digital designer, I have written permission to use for only myself to give away as Personal Use freebies. Gotta follow copyright
rules !
I'll probably be working on some more digital stamp freebies until I get my digital design kit/QP mojo back. The digital stamps are easy and quick for me.
It's been bitter cold here in the mitten . I hope the ground hog brings some warm weather soon !

Freebie Digistamp
I needed a digi stamp for a card project. It's in png , so snag it if you'd like.
You can use it anyway you like, but credit is always appreciated.
Click on the image for original size and right click to save AS a png.
You'll preserve the format with no background
and it will print on any color paper you choose to use .
It prints and cuts out nicely with a 2 " punch. Print on cardstock and
color in the heart using your markers and it looks really cute.
I'll be making one for TaggerPaws also. If you need one with a paw print,
stop by there later.

Valentine Easel Card
Today I tried following a tutorial for an easel card . I'm still
pretty new to making handmade cards using paper instead of digital design,
but even I think this one turned out really cute.
The tutorial I followed step by step was by Mary Lou Schroeder .
It was posted on her blog marylouscorner.blogspot.com.
I've never tried an easel card yet,
so I gave it a whirl . The cute yorkies I used ,with her permission,
are by artist Jane Hoffer. I love her artwork and she knows it :-)
Patterned paper is by K & Company. So until I get my mojo
back for digital design , I'll be making cards to give to my
family and friends.
I've made more cards in the last few months. I may add them here if
anyone is interested. I'd also like to thank those of you that sent
such nice condolences after reading my previous post. I was very touched.
I know we all have lost beautiful furbabies that are every
bit our family as our lovely human children. They are very loved still
even though at Rainbow Bridge.

I'm still here .....
I haven't been in the mood for digital creating lately :-( It was a sad year for me
last year. I lost my beloved 3 1/2 year old yorkie in August to a fast aggressive cancer called multiple myeloma . She was only sick 20 days. After many transfusions , biopsies, medications and tests, the vets treating her could not save her. She had a pulmonary hemorrhage on the 20 th day and left for Rainbow Bridge. I've been in a blue funk for awhile now. I miss her so much. She was not quite 4 pounds and very much loved.
I hope to get back to digital designs soon. In the mean time , I've been making homemade cards in my craft room when I'm not helping with family and grandkids. It
has kept me from my sadness .
I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas Holiday ! We've been snowed in since yesterday , so I'm going to finish a project or two.
